Truckee neighborhoods have long come together the first Saturday every June for a town-wide cleanup day. Truckee River CoHousing neighbors once again helped pickup litter along West River Street.
With social distancing measures in place, Truckee Day looked a little different this year. The picnic and eco-fair did not take place, but that didn’t stop future neighbors and other volunteers from having a great time helping out.
The Truckee River CoHousing crew also enjoyed a small river cleanup day together last month. Many hands have made incremental progress towards renewing the riverfront.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for Truckee Day next year: Saturday, June 5, 2021. You can join any Truckee Neighborhood, or come pitch in at West River Street!
